Our shared commitment to providing quality products begins with the safety of our products.
Our Quality System is driven by programs and procedures through each step of the development and production process, through raw material evaluation to fulfilment.
Our manufacturing facilities are assessed by the British Assessment Bureau, in order to represent our continuing commitment to ISO: 9001 standards. We are also BCMPA accredited and certified by Organic Farmers and Growers and several of our products also include ISO 22000, Informed Sport, FDA, Vegan, Vegetarian, Kosher and Halal certification, ensuring that we are able to manufacture products to meet your specific needs, resulting in providing the best quality products with complete assurance.
Our laboratory facilities contains a wide range of equipment to test the integrity of your products. As a standard, a number of tests are implemented in order to ensure the integrity of products, in addition to supporting the validity and efficacy of both raw materials and finished product solutions.
For each and every material that enters our site, we carry out a FTIR Spectroscopy, an analytical technique used to identify organic, polymeric, and, in some cases, inorganic materials to provide assurance that any material that is used in your products is exactly what it says is on the label.
Each product is weighed and measured for uniformity, and we carry out tests for hardness and friability of every tablet, as well as dissolution of tablets and capsules.
Throughout the development and production process, dissolution testing is routinely used to provide information regarding in vitro release for tablets and capsules for quality control purposes. This assesses batch-to-batch consistency and in formulation predict in vivo compound release profiles whilst optimising the composition of products to achieve specific dissolution targets.
Friability testing is used to test the durability of tablets during packing processes and transit. This involves repeatedly dropping a sample of tablets over a fixed time, using a rotating drum with a baffle. The result is inspected for broken tablets, and the percentage of tablet mass lost through chipping.
Calibrated precision test weighing scales are used to test the uniformity of products across a production run, and to ensure that products are achieving label claims.
